The firm was established in 1955 in Tel-Aviv, by Yehudit and Josef Sahar, may they rest in peace, from the very beginning the firm focused on the Law of Torts area and was one of the first firms to develop a specialization in the area of medical malpractice. In the 1970s, attorneys Moshe Stobiecki and Orna Sahar-Ziv gradually joined the firm, and they continued to lead the firm and develop the legal fields in which the firm specializes in.

In 2021, attorneys Evelyn Aviad, Tal Bukshtein and Avi Benbenishti, from senior associates, joined as firm partners and they currently play a key role in its leadership. The firm has been well known in the field of medical malpractice and tort in general for over 65 years, and it provides legal services in its areas of expertise to institutional bodies, the state, insurance companies and private parties – both as plaintiffs and as defendants.

The firm’s staff consists of 13 lawyers, all of whom have long experience in Court appearances, conducting negotiation proceedings, appeals, mediations and complex civil proceedings. Some of the legal staff serve as mediators, in cases referred to them by the courts and private bodies. Yosef Sahar, Adv.

(1914-1984) Immigrated to Israel from Poland in 1937. Graduated from law studies at the Higher School of Law and Economics in Tel Aviv in 1945. He served in the British Army for about three and a half years. After his return, he enlisted in the ranks of the defense, which began by establishing a military prosecution, and was appointed the general prosecutor of the Palmach "Yiftah" division and was one of the first prosecutors of the military prosecutor's office. After his release from the IDF, he joined the general prosecution at the Tel Aviv district prosecutor's office and established the tort department (national department) In the early 1960s, he retired to private practice with his partner, Judit Sahar, specialized in tort law and published an index of jurisprudence in the field. He was one of Israel's top attorneys in the field of torts, a man of wisdom and knowledge, a pursuer of justice, pleasant in his ways and a lover of fellowship. A generation of senior judges and jurists emerged from his inn. A seminar room at Tel Aviv University was dedicated to his memory.
